About the Business

Amber Taxis began operating in the Amber Valley area in 1988 with a small fleet of vehicles, and has expanded over the years to become the largest fleet in the area. Our current fleet of vehicles comprise mainly of Skoda Octavia cars and Peugeot and Mercedes Minibuses.

We are pleased to announce that over the next few months we will be adding brand new Skoda Rapid cars to our fleet range. Designed specifically for taxi vehicles the Rapid offers a generous interior space and is best-in-class for passenger head and knee room and the boot has a suitcase swallowing 550 litres of storage space. All our vehicles are carefully maintained and undergo strict Council tests and weekly maintenance inspections. Our drivers are all Council and Police record checked and are fully trained. We operate 24 hours a day throughout the year providing a local and long distance service including taxi journeys, parcel deliveries and courier services.
